By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the second of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by Australian
landscape painter Tina Barr (born 1956 in Nottingham, England, UK).
Tina’s style has been described as abstract impressionism. Although her works are representational and recognizable, there is enough abstract of both form and color to add the mystery needed to invite further investigation by the imagination. Tina’s bold brush produces a sense of freedom that is pleasing to the eye and imagination.
As an award-winning artist, Tina has sold throughout Australia, the U.S. and the U.K. She has participated in many group Rotary and College shows and has had solo exhibitions at the Lombard Gallery and the Scarlattis Gallery at Mouth Surmon Wines, Clare.
When she can, Tina loves to get out into the great outdoors to paint plein air and capture first-hand the mood and atmosphere of the coastal regions of South Australia. This outdoor experience comes through in her work.
Tina is a recent finalist in the SALA festival in South Australia, received First Prize in Acrylics at the 2016 Royal Adelaide Show and was also an art judge at the Salisbury Art Society.
She is an active member of the Adelaide Art Society.
