By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the second of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by Peruvian painter Oscar Cuadros (born 1948 in Arequipa, Peru).

Born in Peru's second-most-populous city, Oscar studied painting from the age of 17, with the most-famous painters of his town. Later he studied in the Art Schools of Arequipa and Cusco.
Oscar won his first award in 1976 in Cusco, the capital city, where he had his first individual exposition. He also obtained other important national awards in 1985 and 1996. The artist has participated in many individual and collective exhibitions since 1971, and his work is found all around the world.
In his pictures of landscapes and human figures, Oscar shows his acquired understanding of his homeland and its citizens. By combining
traditional painting techniques with the science of color and drawing, the artist displays his amazing gift, fusing his natural ability and formal style.
