By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the first of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by American painter Amy Karnes (Born 1985 in Kansas, USA).

Many of Amy’s paintings are inspired through personal memories and experiences of her midwestern heritage. Amy’s upbringing on the family farm, with many siblings, instilled lessons of hard work, a determined spirit, and an appreciation for the simple pleasures. As a result, many of Amy’s paintings capture a narrative quality; depicting the bond of family ties, the mysterious beauty of a neglected barn, or the romance of the western landscape.
Amy pursued her education in art at Pensacola Christian College, where she received both her Bachelors and Masters degree in Fine Art. She was privileged to study under the instruction of artist Brian Jekel.
Amy lives in Kansas, where she captures the beauty of the midwest and God’s creation in paint.
