                ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Painting landscape is not just an imitating of what is in front of you but it is a combination of nature and your skill, the skill of coloring, your practice, and your passion.

Travelling and sketching are two important factors I feel that makes one a true landscape artist. Everyone travels. All see the same nature scenes that an artist sees, but not all register it.

The artist has an ability to restore the glimpse of water in his subconscious mind; he is always travelling with a frame and a window that fits as a painting.
