By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the first of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by contemporary Russian-American landscape painter Oksana Johnson (born 1970 in Russia).
Oksana is a Russian-American Impressionist who has lived in the United States since 1997. Growing up in Russia, she developed a deep appreciation and love for art, gaining exposure to the greatest artworks of Russian and Western masters in the country’s best art museums. She has studied painting in the U.S. and Russia with numerous master artists, including Huihan Liu, Slava Korolenkov, Ivan Vityuk, Margaret Carter Baumgaertner, Scott Burdick, and Susan Lyon.
Oksana loves to travel and to capture her impressions of the places she visits. While at her home studio in San Francisco, she also likes painting flowers and portraits.
Oksana paints primarily in oils, but also enjoys working in other media such as charcoal, watercolor, and pastels. Her works are in private collections in the United States and Europe.
