              ARTIST'S STATEMENT

My work is inspired by light, nature and the power of place. I am driven to paint what is unseen and to create a place for the soul to wander.

I have developed a deep appreciation for the landscape of Michigan, having lived here for almost 20 years. I focus on painting the feeling of a place, striving to express the gentle mystery and powerful energy present in our surroundings."
