"Bringing the Museum to You"

By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature a 12-piece Exhibition  of works by American contemporary painter Ron Monsma (born 1951 in Columbus, Ohio).

 

A resident of South Bend, Indiana, Ron grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While his background is in illustration, Ron has been painting and teaching for more than 20 years. He is currently an Associate Professor of Drawing and Painting at Indiana University, South Bend. 

Monsma has exhibited extensively in solo and group shows across the country, and his work is represented in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Europe. He conducts instructional workshops throughout the Midwest.

 

Ron's artwork is represented by Miller Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio.

 

Ron is also a lifelong musician, a drummer who plays all styles and specializes in jazz.
