By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the first of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by Russian painter 

Alexander Shevelev (born 1964 in Sherekhovichi, Novgorod region, Russia). 
 

Alexander graduated from the Yaroslavl Art College in 1984 and Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1992. Since 1989 he has participated in regional and republican exhibitions and has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1996. 

In 2013, Alexander became a member of the Creative Union of Russian Artists, the International Federation of Artists section-painting and the Professional Union of Artists of Russia.

The artist's works are in the Rybinsk Historical and Art Museum, the Museum of the town of Mologa, the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, JSC Moskovit, the ownership of NPO Saturn (OJSC Rybinsk motors), in the collection of the magazine Russian Gallery XXI century, private collections in Moscow, Rybinsk, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, as well as in Germany, the United States, Finland, Sweden, Holland, England and Macedonia. 

Alexander has lived and worked in Rybinsk since 1992.
