  Feature Artist Bio

By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the first of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by Serbian  painter Nenad Kojić (born 1967 in Yugoslavija (Serbia).

Nenad Kojić is an International award-winning artist and painter (mostly aquarist) with a special sensibility,  whose works attract the attention of lovers and artists at home and abroad.

Born in the small Šumadia`s village of Lapovo, Nenad was interested in art as a child, and in primary and secondary schools he received awards for his works. When he was a young man in Belgrade, he worked various tasks in order to achieve autonomy and independence. In 2013, he decided that he had achieved enough in his career as an IT manager and  businessman, and began dedicating himself to his eternal love - art. Since he had not tried the role of aquarelle before (he had dealt with photography, painted oil and nurtured the drawing as the basis of all his visual skills), his exploration of the watercolor medium was the real beginning of his active and professional painting career.

Nenad's
painting influences include artists such as J. M. W. Turner, James Whistler, Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent and contemporary impressionists. Nenad's work is known for its original style, bright and translucent tones, as well as the originality of the expression. His exceptional watercolors (as well as works of acrylic and oil) have found their collectors all over the world and his works hang in Serbia, Russia, America, Canada, Japan, Australia, Turkey and, of course, most EU countries.

The artist lives and works in Belgrade.
