By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the first of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by contemporary American landscape painter Peach McComb (born 1960 in Springfield, Massachusetts).

Peach is a contemporary impressionist. She paints every day and enjoys working in different media to provide diversity and sustain interest. Peach's mentor, Mary Field Neville, taught her that painting every day and painting with other, more accomplished artists, are the best ways to improve her own work; a philosophy she practices religiously.
Peach works mainly in oil and in acrylics and has studied with Frank Baggett, Anne Blair Brown, Roger Dale Brown, G. Russell Case, Howard Friedland, Charles Gruppè, Charles Harrington, Gayle Levée, Mary Field Neville, and Mary Whyte.
Peach's Commissioned artworks can be found in several private collections throughout the U.S. She currently resides in Old Hickory, Tennessee.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"I started painting seriously late in 2003 after discovering that painting is something I love! I use oils; water-based media, and pastels.

I paint because I must. I have no better means of expressing what I want to say and painting is how I communicate best. Sometimes there are no words to describe what I feel and painting does that far more eloquently than any words I could choose."
