"Bringing the Museum to You"

By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the third of three 12-piece Exhibitions of works by American contemporary Impressionist painter Barbara Benedetti Newton (born 1943 in Puyallup, Washington).

Barbara attended Burnley School of Professional Art (now renamed Art Institute of Seattle) where she studied with William Cumming, among others. 
 

She is a Charter Member, Signature Member, past president and 10 Year Merit Member of Colored Pencil Society of America; Signature Member of the Northwest Pastel Society, the Pastel Society of the West Coast and the Pastel Society of America; a juried member of Women Painters of Washington, Women Artists of the West and Landscape Artists International. Barbara is a 2013 International Association of Pastel Artists Master Circle Honoree.
