By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the second of two 12-piece Exhibitions of works by American contemporary Impressionist painter Nancy Nowak (born 1958 in Bridgeport, Connecticut).
Nancy Feinman Nowak earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Cleveland Institute of Art in 1981, where her main interests were Enameling and Oil painting. She had a calligraphy business for 13 years before transforming it into her present business, Ink Strokes Printing, Inc. She is a Master Circle member of the International Association of Pastel Societies and a Member of Excellence in the Southeastern Pastel Society. Originally from New Jersey, Nancy now resides in the Atlanta, GA area with her husband Don and dog Beaux. When not painting or working, you can often find her at the golf course or curled up reading a good book.

"For me, it’s all about creating. It’s being attuned to the inspiration that nature provides, and intuitively, patiently, and creatively, letting go and seeing where that leads. Color and light are what inspires me. It is an ongoing endeavor to capture it artistically yet technically and to bring out the spirit of my subjects using the glorious medium of pastels."
