Feature Artist Bio
By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the second of two 12-piece Exhibitions of works by French contemporary Impressionist painter Daniel Sannier (born 1944, Somme River region, France).
Contemporary French artist Daniel Sannier still lives and works in his home town, an ancient city on the bay of the Somme River. Most of the inspirations for his beautiful landscape paintings come from this area in Northern France known as “Picardie.” The orchards in bloom, the quiet side waters of the Somme River covered with Waterlillies and the wide fields of “Colza” - these are the subjects he has
become well-known for throughout Europe as well as here in the United States.
Sannier continues to participate in numerous exhibitions and is a member of the Salon des Artists Independents. In 1981, his success increased when he won the silver-medal at the Association Artistique of the
Foundation Lepine in Paris. Sannier continues to hold exhibitions throughout Europe and continues to receive prestigious awards for his work. The quiet, peaceful impressionistic paintings of Sannier show us his passion and great love of nature.
