By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the first of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by contemporary British landscape painter Ann Marie Bone (born 1962 in Nottingham, England).

Ann Marie Bone is a freelance artist with a passion for painting landscapes in vibrant colours, using oil paints, acrylic, watercolour and mixed media.
 

She graduated from Nottingham University in 1983 and now lives in Dovedale, in the beautiful Peak District of Derbyshire, with her husband, David, and their five grown children.
 

Each of Ann Marie's paintings is unique, and although inspired by the scenic area of the UK where she lives, they often come from her imagination. She often paints commissions based on dreams, ideas, photos, etc. "People often say that the use of light and colour in my paintings create images of heaven and this has become quite a significant idea in my art," says Ann. "I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of 2014, and after surgery, have made a full recovery. My art is now even more important to me, as I realise how precious life is, and I think my paintings reflect this."

Ann Marie paint in oils and acrylic on canvas, in a wide variety of sizes. She also paints in watercolours and does pencil drawings which are framed to order.  The artist strives to work with those on a budget and encourages them to contact her for  information on the options available in their  price range.
