The Cyber Art Show
By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the second of two 12-piece Exhibitions of works by American contemporary Impressionist painter Daniel Fishback (born 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri).
Daniel's landscape paintings demonstrate his love for the outdoors. He especially enjoys locations near a near a body of water. As a young boy, he became fascinated with the outdoors while exploring McKenzie Creek, which ran about 50 yards from his Grandmother's home in Piedmont, Missouri.
Daniel started painting in 1999, and with the exception of a few non-credit watercolor classes, he is primarily self-taught. In 2014, he began taking workshops from people like John Lasater & Jason Sacran, CW Mundy, Roger Dale Brown, and Shawn Cornell. In April 2015 he will be taking a plein-air workshop with Scott Christensen.
Daniel is a Member of the Missouri Valley Impressionist Society, Art Saint Louis, and Jacoby Art Centre. His paintings are in corporate and private collections in the United States, Belgium and Ireland. He has earned numerous awards and has had several solo shows. Commissions considered and encouraged.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"Quite a few of my oil landscapes are done on location (en plein aire). I like the immediacy and the fresh quality of capturing a scene quickly, seeing the true colors of light and shadow, and giving my personal response to a scene."
