By permission of the artistThe Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the first of two

12-piece Exhibitions of works by American contemporary Impressionist painter Dorothy Redland (born 1935 in Buffalo, Wyoming).

Dorothy is a professional artist specializing in landscapes and western art using a variety of mediums. Born and raised in northern Wyoming,  she and her husband ranched there. until they moved their ranching operation to Texas in 1978. She has had the privilege of spending her summer months in the beautiful Big Horn mountains of Wyoming.                                                                                                                                                                         Dorothy's love of nature and especially the mountains is clearly reflected in her work. Her opportunity to study with some of the great cowboy artists of America such as Jim Boren, Ken Riley, Dave Halbeck and many others has really influenced her love of art, as well as a pastel workshop she took with Lorenzo Chavez

Dorothy is also a popular teacher who claims her students teach her something every day.
