By permission of the artistThe Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the second of three 12-piece Exhibitions  of works by American contemporary Impressionist painter Leo Loomie (born 1944  in Brooklyn, New York).

Leo graduated from Cornell University in 1966 with a BFA in Fine Arts, and took graduate courses at Hunter and Adelphi Colleges. While cruising on a self-built trimaran, he worked in pen and ink, which led to carving and printing woodblock prints.  These were sold enroute in Australia and Singapore. He taught painting and photography at the Singapore American School.

Relocating to Greene County, NY, he resumed work in color woodblock printing and pastels, exhibiting widely.  In 1987 he worked in textile design, hand painting silk and cottons, and developed and patented a production dye painting machine.
