By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the second of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by African landscape painter Damilola Moses Opedun (born 1983 in Ondo State, Nigeria, Africa).

As a child Damilola Opedun was encouraged by his mother, who made sure that he never lacked drawing materials so as to be able to draw at all times; she observed that drawing made him so happy and relaxed.

He grew up and received his basic and senior education in Ibadan and later moved to his hometown, where he met Mr. Olumuyiwa Adejimi a professional painter and art teacher who mentored him from 2002 till 2006.

In 2006, Opedun was accepted into The School of Art And Design, Auchi Polytechnic, Edo state, Nigeria and graduated in 2010 as the best graduating student in his year group with Higher National Diploma (HND) in Painting. After school he moved to Lagos, the business center of Nigeria and worked in a motel to support himself while he worked to improve his painting until January 2015 when he finally left the job to focus only on painting, becoming a full-time studio artist.

Damilola currently works as an art educator/teacher and a painter.
