The Cyber Art Show
By permission of the artist, The Cyber Art Show is pleased to feature the second of two 12-piece exhibitions of works by American landscape painter Linda Mutti (born 1950 in Tucson, Arizona).
Linda was born in Tucson, Arizona, but at age 5 moved to California. A passion for drawing and painting began in early childhood and continues to this day. The love of horses and the California landscape is evident in the subject of many paintings and drawings. Linda works in oil, pastel and pencil.
She has studied under such noted artists as Richard McKinley, Albert Handell, Glenna Hartmann and Kim Lordier. She was accepted for apprenticeship with internationally-acclaimed muralist John Pugh.
Linda is an award-winning Distinquished Pastelist member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast, a Signature member of the Pastel Society of America, a member of the California Art Club, America Women Artists and a founding member of PACC (Plein air Artists of the Central Coast). She is also a member of the Santa Barbara Art Association and SCAPE (Southern California Artists Painting for the Environment).
Linda's paintings are held in collections across the United States, Canada and Europe. She has been an invited artist participating in Quick Draw Festivals and Street Painting Festivals in Los Olivos, San Rafael, Santa Barbara and San Diego.
